At KSA, all coaches have played at the college level and/or professionally. These coaches bring not only a vast amount of knowledge and experience, but a passion for the game seen nowhere else!

How do I sign up?

To sign up, all you have to do is click the link above where it says “Sign up Here”, sign up for KSA’s scheduling software, purchase a lesson pack of your choosing, and book your 45-minute lesson with the coach of your choosing in the offerings section! All coaches are currently available for lessons and would be happy to support you in your baseball journey! Read about KSA’s elite coaches below!

  • Starting his collegiate career at Edmonds CC, he earned 1st Team All NWAC honors, and won a Gold Glove. While playing for the Bellingham Bells of the WCL (West Coast League), he was an All Star, 1St Team WCL, was named as a WCL Top 30 Player, and won the WCL Batting Title in 2016.

    After Edmonds, he earned a spot at Marshall University. Coach Hanon hit .341 in his 3 year varsity career at Marshall. He led Marshall in hitting in 2 of his 3 years there, and was 2nd on the team in hitting the other year. While at Marshall, he showed off his versatility by playing OF, 3B, and 1B. He was top 10 in CUSA (Conference USA) batting twice.

  • Coach Thompson attended Oregon State University from 2014-2017. While there Thompson earned Unanimous First Team All American and Academic All American honors as well as being named to the Pac-12 First Team. After leading the nation in wins in 2017 Thompson was drafted in the 4th round by the Boston Redsox. Spent 7 years in the Redsox system making it up to the Triple A level.

  • Coach Steve Dickey is a Howard HS (Baltimore, Md) graduate, former Baltimore Orioles Prospect, and co-founder the West Sound Baseball Club. He was a 3 year Varsity letterman in baseball and after hitting over .400 and leading the state in K’s from the mound his Sr year, was named to the All-State team. After a shoulder injury ended his playing career, he moved out to the PNW. He has been coaching select baseball in the area for about 16yrs, and High School Baseball for 10yrs, South Kitsap HS (2013-2017) , Bremerton HS (2018-2021) and is currently an Asst Coach at Olympic College. He has helped lead teams to 6 State Championship Game appearances and 3 State Championships in that time. Coach Dickey has coached over 70 kids that have gone on to play college and/or professional baseball from D1 to JUCO and everywhere in between.

  • Coach Olson, played high school ball at Gig Harbor High School before playing 2 years at Pierce College where he was a part of their 2012 championship team that is now in the Pierce College Hall of Fame. He has been coaching for the past 9 years for various high schools and travel ball teams.

  • Coach Seamus is currently playing for Olympic College. In 2022, he competed in the 18U WSBC for the national team of Ireland. He batted .522 in that tournament ranking him as a top 5 hitter in Europe in 2022, and will continue playing for Team Ireland in the 2028 Olympic Trials. Coach Seamus brings 5+ years of coaching experience all the way from little league to collegiate ballplayers in both catching and hitting.
